COMO Shambhala maintains consistently high standards in its awardwinning approach to holistic health through the expertise of our key personnel. This core team is responsible for maintaining standards and developing our future.

  • Monica Barter, COMO Shambhala Group Operations Director

    Barter, a trained sports scientist, is also a certified colon hydrotherapist, massage therapist and Yoga practitioner. She also heads up COMO Shambhala’s training and development.

  • Amanda Gale, COMO Group Executive Chef

    In 1998, we launched COMO Shambhala Cuisine at Parrot Cay developed by COMO's Executive Chef, Amanda Gale. Originally hailing from Australia, Amanda has a profound knowledge of spa cuisine. She trained with Neil Perry of Rockpool, Sydney.

  • Susan King, Intuitive Counsellor

    Intuitive Counselling is the practice of accessing our inner wisdom through the help and guidance of another. King intuits the real-life dilemmas of her clients and offers new perspectives. King is based in London with occasional sessions at Parrot Cay.

  • Jasveet Jagdev, COMO Shambhala Product & Marketing Manager
    Jasveet has over 10 years experience in the beauty sector, specializing in new product development, packaging and branding. Her passion for beauty products started at a young age mixing potions in the bathroom, now responsible for COMO Shambhala product development she is based in London and is always hunting out new ideas for the brand.
  • Juliet Ng, COMO Shambhala Operations Manager

    Ng rejoined COMO Hotels and Resorts in July 2007 and is based in Singapore. She previously worked at Parrot Cay and at Uma Paro. She now provides training support to all COMO Shambhala worldwide. She also functions as a key part in the pre-opening team for new COMO Shambhala projects.

  • Corinna Yap, COMO Shambhala Director of Sales

    Born and raised in Singapore, Yap is a Hotel Management graduate. She has international experience with Hyatt International and Four Seasons. Her passion for wellness, fitness and nutrition (she is a qualified skydiver and certified scuba instructor) led her to join COMO Hotels and Resorts as Director of Sales COMO Shambhala in 2008.
